Porsche RS America
A few years ago I was lucky enough to "baby sit" a 1999 Porsche C4. My brother who is the owner now, lives in the Atlanta area had found a previously owned one in Manchester, NH. He had asked me to go check check it out and if looked good, buy it for him. He would fly up at a later date to take possession of the car and drive it back to Georgia. To make a long story short the car was in great shape, I bought it and had a blast for a month. One of the best things about that C4 was how easy it was to drive around town. Needless to say I was very sad to see the Silver C4 leave my driveway for good. I have always loved the 911 and that car left a lasting impression, not to mention a perma smile. Now fast forward to yesterday and I had just received an email from a friend. Todd wrote to me letting me know that his work associate and friend Cliff was about to put his Beautiful and rare 1993 Porsche RS America into heated storage for the Maine Winter. Perhaps I could photograph the car before this yearly ritual happened. I had seen the car around town and always wondered whos car it was? Todd connected me and I called Cliff to set the shoot up, I was out the door with my gear within a half an hour. The day was perfect to do a car portrait. It was overcast, a little spritzing rain and there were fall leaves all over the ground that created a nice contrasty scene with which to photograph the pristine car.
