Power of the Point and Shoot

This past Saturday I was sitting in traffic on the West Highway in Manhattan on my way to a photograph a few buildings for a Maine Client when I saw this amazing structure.  Holy crap... where is that point and shoot!  With my foot firmly on the brake pedal and traffic not moving at all I snapped off about a half a dozen shots before the traffic got rolling.  It was not until I got back to my office and looked at the files that I realized what a great shot I had captured.  More and more I am realizing that some of the best vantage points for architectural photography within a city is right in the center of traffic.  Luckily I had great timing on my side for this shot.
