Boothbay Harbor Home

I recently had a meeting with the Knickerbocker Group, a design and build firm located in Boothbay Maine.  The quality of the architectural work they produce is very impressive and highlights what an the amazing pool of talented design and craftspeople we have located right here in Maine.  Rick Nelson, one of their architect's took me around to look at some of their projects and this home located on West Harbor Pond caught my eye.

Tulips on Brighton Ave

You know Spring has arrived in Portland when the tulips at the corner of Deering and Brighton Ave have come into  bloom.  It is one of the happiest and colorful corners in the city this time of the year.

There are so many great old buildings in the Old Port.  Here is a recent find on one of my photo outings.  There is a fair bit of new construction going on in the city and I will do my best to capture and juxtapose those new structures with the turn of the century buildings that are standing tall.
