Snow storm today

January has been quite the snowy month, we have "feet" of snow on the ground at the moment.  The skiing has been great and that makes me a happy camper.  We have had a number of big storms this month but my schedule has not allowed me to get out and create some new storm photos.  Today was my lucky day!  I made it out to Deering Oaks Park and then down to the Old Port to capture Portland in the snow.  This is the bridge over the Deering Oaks Ravine.  This park dates back to 1879 when it was designed by Portland designer and city engineer William Goodwin with the assistance of Frederick Olmsted.  In the Spring, Summer and Fall months this park is home to one of the best farmers markets on the East Coast.  This morning it was so quiet you could hear the snow flakes landing.
